President
Kent Thompson is the President of Thompson Realty Group as well as a Licensed Broker and Broker Owner. Mr. Thompson has been actively involved in Commercial Real Estate for over 30 years. Upon completing his education at New York University's Real Estate School, he remained in New York for ten years and was involved in the management of both the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. Mr. Thompson and his family moved back to Nebraska in 1989 when he and wife, Sara, founded Thompson Realty Group. Currently, he directs management of over 1.5 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial space.
Mr. Thompson sits on the Board of Directors of several major businesses and charities in Lincoln. Throughout his career, Mr. Thompson has leased over 4 million square feet of various property types and has developed and built over 1.7 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial space for the professional community.

Vice President of
Marketing, Leasing, and Sales Prior to joining Thompson Realty Group, Elgert spent over thirteen years as a real estate broker and was co-owner of real estate company Century Realty Coldwell Banker. He has twenty years of experience as a mortgage loan officer and senior officer in mortgage banking. Elgert's experience also includes sales management in marketing and advertising sales. Elgert received a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has over 180 hours of continuing education in real estate.

Associate Broker Jeff Fry is an Associate Broker with Thompson Realty Group. He earned his Nebraska real estate salesperson's license in 2002, his Nebraska real estate broker's license in 2004, and his Colorado Broker's License in 2007. Jeff is a Graduate of the Realtor® Institute (GRI) is currently working towards his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. The CCIM program is rigorous and in-depth study of financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate.

Jeff is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Realtors®, Nebraska Realtor® Association, and the Realtor® Association of Lincoln - currently serving as Vice Chair of the Lincoln Commercial Brokers Committee. He is also a member of Lincoln's Young Professionals Group and involved in Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and the Lincoln Independent Business Association (LIBA). Jeff also volunteers to coach YMCA soccer.

Sales Associate Hilgert earned his real estate license in 2005, previously working in residential real estate with Home Real Estate for two and half years. Hilgert was raised in Lincoln in a family of business owners and real estate developers. He is a graduate of the Realtor® Institute which includes training in ethics and legal issues, real estate investment and management, finance, technology and taxation. His professional career includes significant project management experience. Hilgert studied Business Administration with an emphasis in Management at UNL.

Director of Property Management Grant is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He has earned the designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®). These designations are awarded to real estate managers who have met the Institute's rigorous requirements in the areas of professional education, examination, experience, and who abide by a strict Code of Professional Ethics enforced by the Institute.
Grant is a graduate of UNL. He holds a Nebraska Real Estate License and is a member of the national, state, and local board of Realtors®. He serves on the Lincoln Board of Realtors® Property Management Committee. Prior to joining Thompson Realty Group, Grant worked for Commercial Investment Properties overseeing a portfolio including more than 750 multi-family units and a 109 room hotel.
Grant is a member of the Cavett Elementary School Parent Advisory Board.
